Unemployment rate to increase in Armenia next year

Unemployment rate is to increase next year worldwide, the world crisis consequences evidence.

Referring to whether unemployment rate increase is expected in Armenia in 2010, the Charman of the NA Permanent Committee for Social Affairs Hakob Hakobyan told Panorama.am reporter that the same is expected in Armenia.

“The increase has been observed in all the countries worldwide, except China and a few EU states. This is natural and only the economic development can combat it. For the economic development we need sums, that is to say, investments into some economic sectors, what we are doing now. As a result, we will have new workplaces.”
