Education and Science sphere faced two stresses in 2009

Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan referred to the ministry works carried out during the ongoing year at a press conference today. He highlighted that the ministry has implemented all the programs scheduled for 2009.

“This year the sphere faced two stresses. The first one I would point out is the economic crisis, the second one being the minister’s change,” A. Ashotyan said.

Despite the two issues, efficient reforms have been conducted in the system, the minister said. Ashotyan noted that the ministry has always been open to the public.

Note that the Education and Science Ministry official website ranks top three due to the number of visitors among all the ministries.
