IMF forecasts 2% GDP growth in Armenia

The International Monetary Fund forecasted 2% GDP growth in Armenia, the head of the IMF mission in Yerevan Mark Lewis told reporters today.

According to him, moderate growth is expected in the spheres of mining, agriculture and services. Armenia is not to face a second wave of economic crisis, he said.

In 2009 the index for economic decline showed 14.4% in Armenia.
