G. Minasyan says reopening of “Upper Lars” Armenia’s foreign policy victory

“We know that Russian and Georgian ties are strained. Irrespective of that, Armenia has been trying hard to make the “Upper Lars” border reopened. And we managed that, we managed the opening of the border. I think that is the victory of our foreign policy,” Gagik Minasyan, the President of NA Finance-budget committee told Panorama.am.

Regarding the economic side of the reopening the border, the deputy said that exporting of Armenian products to Georgia is supposed to be improved. He said the wastes on exported products will be cut by 20-25%. “I think that it will contribute to the development of exporting,” Gagik Minasyan said.
