National Assembly deputy Viktor Dallaqyan’s initiative on “supporting vulnerable society group in case gas price is increased” has been rejected by the executive body. It’s defined unacceptable to make separate norms and mechanisms for vulnerable groups when the price of one of the communal services increased.
Government’s another decision defines that the executive body has already made correspondent decision – repayment project.
The deputy told Panorama.am his observation on this respect. V. Dallaqyan said he had submitted two other initiatives on “Indexing social wastes” and “on luxury fee”.
What is the connection between gas price increase and luxury fee, the deputy said. “The adoption of the law could define that in those socially heavy days, people who had rubbed and now live in luxurious conditions should pay that fee to meet the challenges of vulnerable groups,” he said.
Regarding his initiative of supporting vulnerable groups in case gas price is increased, Dallaqyan said Government’s disposition is unacceptable, since law isn’t written once.
“It’s surprising the executive said it’s an issue of separate communal fee, because even a child can see that gas price increase will result in inflation,” Dallaqyan said.
NA deputy was asked about Government’s repayment project. “I’m pessimistic,” he said adding that the repayment project can’t have a significant influence on settling problems of vulnerables.
A little step that a retired can have a repayment is good but still not enough. Dallaqyan said that he’s going to resubmit his initiative on “paying luxury fee.”
