300 schools will join in 2011 internet network which already ha 644 members, Areg Grigoryan, the director of Educational technological national center (ETNC) told Panorama.am.
Those companies which should work on expanding of the network have already passed the first phase in the Procurement agency of Armenia. “The thing is that we have 47 regional knots, which provide internet to schools and they all join in our center,” A. Grigoryan said.
The second phase of the competition will finish on May 30. Then the construction activities will resume, and the schools will join the pilot network, if the process is successful they will become permanent members to the network.
