Georgia’s PM: Georgia-Armenia gas pipeline control share package out of sale

Georgia’s Prime Minister Nika Giluari declared in Georgian Parliament answering to a requested question he’s “definitively” against the sale of control package of Armenia-Georgia gas pipeline share. Georgian PM didn’t at the same time exclude its possibilities in a few years, “Business Gruzia” reported.

“We don’t have any plan of sale; that isn’t our decision. It’s not excluded the 5-10% of the share is sold in London Bursa but after 4-5 years only, not now,” Georgian PM said.

The talks over the sale of Armenia-Georgia gas pipeline started after the state developed a list of properties the sale of which is banned by the Government, and the pipeline wasn’t listed their.

The author of the initiative Pavle Kublashvili said: “Any enterprise is well ruled by private sector than by state.”
