Armenia, Tajikistan to reinforce cooperation

The Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan met with his Tajikistani counterpart Hamrokhon Zarif August 20. According to the Foreign Ministry’s press and information department, during the meeting the parties noted that the level of relations established between the two countries create wide opportunities for deepening and reinforcing effective cooperation between Armenia and Tajikistan in different spheres. The parties reiterated their readiness to undertake steps in that direction.

The ministers signified the deepening of partnership between Armenia and Tajikistan within the framework of international organizations.

The ministers highlighted the necessity of using economic potential, expanding relations between the business circles. The sides agreed that it is necessary to undertake steps towards the expansion of the legal-contractual field between Armenia and Tajikistan.

Edward Nalbandyan and Hamrokhon Zarif also referred to the regional developments in the Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
