Armenian photographer wins in international photo contest

On September 21 the Armenian photographer Ashot Poghosyan took the first prize in “Moments of Peace” photo contest in the category of “People” for his photo “Minute of Dream”. The contest was held in the Czech Republic by the Information Center for Peace, on the occasion of the World Peace Day. Totally 2594 photos from 34 countries were presented in “People” category.

The UN proclaimed September 21 as the World Peace Day in 1982.
