Chair of Armenian studies in Turkish University still waiting

Chairs of Armenian and Hebrew studies in Erjiyes University, Turkish city of Kayseri, are still in the situation of waiting, the legal permission of the authorities to allow foreign professors study the students there, Turkish “Anadolu” news agency reported.

Vice rector of the University told the source that 4 students have already applied to study Armenian language and 7 – Hebrew.

It’s underscored that Armenian studies are of great significance for Turkey now.
