President visits Grand Candy Company; Grand Candy turns 10

President Serzh Sargsyan today visited the Grand Candy Company on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of company’s establishment.

The President was accompanied by Minister of Economy Nerses Yeritsyan, Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan.

Member of Armenian parliament, owner of Grand Candy Company Karen Vardanyan talking to reporters said that the number of company employees reached over 2000 during the ten years, and the company is the first one among food industry enterprises in the country by the number of employees.

According to K. Vardanyan, over the 10 years the company transferred AMD 12bn 131m taxes to the state budget.

As to investments, the company made AMD 11bn 534m investments. The owner of the company said that the assortment of company’s products has reached 350. In 2020 the company will have 4 thousand employees.
