Popular Soviet and Russian actor Armen Dzhigarkhanyan turns 75 on Sunday, with President Dmitry Medvedev extending his congratulations to this effect earlier in the day.
Official celebrations are slated for October 10, which coincides with the 55th anniversary of Dzhigarkhanyan’s creative activity, Russia’s ITAR-TASS news agency reported.
It quoted the iconic actor as saying that he appeared in more than 300 films, something that helped him enter the Guinness Book of World Records.
