“Serenade” referring to Armenian Genocide bestseller in Turkey

 Zulfu Livaneli’s “Serenade” novel which covers the issue of Armenian Genocide has become a bestseller in Turkey. Turkish “Milliyet” daily writes that that in 3 days 50 thousand pieces of the book were sold.

This is a love story of scientist Maya Duran from Istanbul University and a German professor Maximilian Vagner.

The book refers to Armenian Genocide, Kurdish issue and Holocaust in World War Second.
