Armenian GM Tigran Kotanjian scored 7 points in Beirut-hosted open and took the 2nd place among the 68 participants, “armchess.am” informs. Kotanjian lacked only half a point to reach the winner of the open, GM Alexei Barsov (Uzbekistan).
Several chess players from Armenian diaspora also took part in the tournament. Rafi Djikerian (Palestine) scored 5,5, Jirair Oknayan (Lebanon) - 5, Danielle Bedrosian (Lebanon) - 3,5, Harak Kailabozian (Lebanon) - 2,5 points.
