Haykakan Zhamanak: Traffic police chief expected to resign

Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports that the latest developments in the traffic police sector suggest that chief Margar Ohanyan will resign shortly.

“The Special Investigation Service launched on Thursday an investigation into violations committed by traffic police officers. Besides, the traffic police will be dissolved by the end of the year. Deputy chief of police Alexander Afyan was appointed as coordinator of the traffic police two weeks ago,” the daily says.
