Jivan Gasparyan junior takes UNESCO special award

 Jivan Gasparyan junior has been granted UNESCO’s special award during “Voices of East” international musical festival hosted by the city of Samarghand, Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have taken the other two awards by UNESCO, said the musician in a news conference.

The festival was organized on August 25-30 and hosted 300 musicians from 52 countries. China took the first prize.

“This has been my first participation to a big festival, and I have been awarded,” J. Gasparyan said.
