Armenian President: It hasn’t been defined that Armenia has suffered second wave of financial-economic crisis

 “We’ve collected here the heads of rural communities to discuss some serious issues. After your speech, people may think that the crisis has kneeled down at our doors,” Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has made remarks on World Bank Armenian office manager Jean-Michel Happi’s speech delivered in the first conference of rural communities. President has stressed that it hasn’t been defined that Armenia has suffered the second wave of financial-economic crisis.

“Negative forecast should not be made. The experts’ provisions are not definite. We’re grateful to you for warning us, we accept it, but still don’t think the wave reached our country,” said Serzh Sargsyan.

The World Bank envoy has said in his speech that the Armenian economy is threatened to face the panic of the euro-zone crisis. He has said the situation is getting tensed because of growing food prices. Jean-Michel Happi has stressed that the agriculture in Armenia faces many challenges.
