Armenian Chess Federation to release official statement

 Azerbaijan’s chess federation has officially filed an application to host international chess qualifying tournament this autumn. Referring to GM Levon Aronyan, Mair Mamedov, the vice president of the federation, declared they were ready to provide terms offered by Levon Aronian.

“I think there will be a problem with Armenian Chess Federation and not with Levon Aronyan,” Mamedov said.

Panorama.am correspondent contacted with Smbat Lputyan, Vice President of Armenian Chess Federation, asking for some comments in this respect. Mr. Lputyan has said that the federation will release a statement in the next few days.
