Hayrapetyans wanted to buy gold and diamond mines

Hraparak newspaper dwelt on the conflict between Hayastan Trade Center and Ameriabank. The point is that the Hayrapetyans had signed a loan agreement of around USD 10 million with the bank in order to buy gold and diamond mines in Africa. The newspaper’s source says the mines were in Sierra Leone.

“They were to spend the sum on the mine exploitation. And they have had problems with paying off the loan since last August,” says the paper.
