Barack Obama freezes Iran’s central bank assets

US President Barack Obama imposed new sanctions against Iran ordering to freeze the assets of Iranian Central Bank, “asriran.com” reported.

According to the source, President Barack Obama ordered a freeze on all Iranian government and central bank assets imposing tougher unilateral economic sanctions against Iran.

Earlier, European Union has also imposed an embargo on Iran’s oil.

A couple of days ago more than 60 human rights and peace organizations were protesting in New York economi sanctions against Iran.
