Hovik Abrahamyan petitions for position

Zhoghovurd’s sources say that former aide to ex-Speaker of Parliament Hovik Abrahamyan, Georgy Muradyan will head the newly opened Consulate of Armenia in Odessa. However, the latter told the newspaper that he had not received such an offer.

Nevertheless, the newspaper says he not only has received such an offer but also has given a preliminary consent.

“Moreover, according to our sources in the Foreign Ministry, the Consulate of Armenia in Odessa was opened just for providing Georgy Muradyan with job. They even say that Hovik Abrahamyan has petitioned personally in that issue,” writes the newspaper.
