Armenian national currency history exhibition to be held in Ashtarak

The Central Bank of Armenia has initiated an exhibition featuring the history of the national currency of Armenia, dram in Ashtarak town on April 16-23.

The exhibition aims to throw light on the history of Armenian dram, its protective features, key functions of financial and banking sector as well as consumers’ financial rights, Aragatsotn regional administration said.

So far, Vanadzor, Stepanakert, Ijevan, Yeghegnadzor, Gyumri and Gavar have hosted Armenian dram history exhibitions.
