Ranieri sacked by Inter

Internazionale last night sacked manager Claudio Ranieri. Inter lost 2-0 to Juventus on Sunday evening, dropping them to eighth in Serie A, following a run of one win in 10 games. They are 22 points behind city rivals and league leaders Milan, The Independent reported.

Inter were also recently knocked out of the Champions League by Marseilles in the last 16.

Ranieri has been replaced by youth-team coach Andrea Stramaccioni, who led a young side to win the NextGen trophy in London on Sunday.
