PM Tigran Sargsyan receives Diaspora writers

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a group of Armenian writers from France, Lebanon, Cyprus and Israel who have arrived in Armenia for the 6th Pan-Armenian Writers' Conference, government’s press office reported.

At the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to preservation of Armenian identity and further spread of the mother tongue among Diaspora Armenians.

The Diaspora writers expressed readiness to continue working towards maintaining the mother tongue for the sake of preservation and development of Armenian literary heritage abroad.
