RPA refuses to support Gyumri mayor Vardan Ghukasyan in the mayoral election, citing his criminal adventures, Yerkir reports.

“According to our information, PAP will nominate MP Martun Grigoryan for Gyumri mayor. By the way, PAP’s candidate pleases RPA. His appointment as Gyumri mayor could solve two problems simultaneously: first, RPA would get rid of Vardan Ghukasyan, second, Republican Arman Sahakyan would enter parliament by majority system in the place of Grigoryan,” the paper says.
