Armenian Defense Ministry: Azerbaijan attempting to position itself as victim

Azerbaijani media reported that two Azeri servicemen were injured in an exchange of fire at the line of contact. As a result of the shooting, one Armenian soldier was killed and four others were wounded, Azerbaijani media reports said, quoting so-called anonymous sources.

Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan denied the reports. With the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group starting regional tour, as well as OSCE Secretary General visiting Baku, Azerbaijan is attempting to position itself as a victim, showing that it is the Azerbaijani side that suffers from protraction of the conflict, Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am.
