Zhoghovurd: Dollar exchange rate falls abruptly

Dollar exchange rate suddenly fell during one night to 414 (sale) and 417 (purchase) from 420 and 417, respectively, Zhoghovurd writes.

“In such cases authorities always blame “floating” exchange rate, but it’s no secret that economic processes in Armenia are never regulated by economic law. There is an opinion that CBA, introducing a new lot of dollars into the market, tries to reduce dollar price in order to prevent further inflation,” the paper writes.
