Samvel Balasanyan announces his candidacy for Gyumri mayor

Nominations of candidates for the position of mayor of Gyumri City began on Sunday, August 5.

Prosperous Armenia Party member Samvel Balasanyan has announced his candidacy for Gyumri mayor, head of local electoral commission No. 34, Edward Baghramyan told Panorama.am.

Besides, one candidate for the council of elders of Gyumri has submitted his application, the election official said.

Ararat, Armavir, Shirak, Lori and Syunik regions will hold local self-government elections on September 9.
