Iranian FM presents three-point proposal on Syria

In a Washington Post interview, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has presented a three-point proposal on Syria, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported.

According to Salehi, “Iran looks forward to bringing like-minded countries together to implement three essential points: 1. ensure an immediate cease-fire to stop the bloodshed; 2. dispatch humanitarian aid to the Syrian people; 3. prepare the ground for dialogue to solve the crisis.”
