Haykakan Zhamanak: Petrol price increase unsubstantiated

Wholesale petrol prices rose in almost all filling stations of Yerevan Wednesday morning, Hakyakan Zhamanak writes.

“In fact, within two weeks petrol prices rose more than 6 percent in Armenia,” says the daily, adding that petrol prices rose slightly on world market, but it is “neutralized” by the appreciation of the Armenian Dram.

“The petrol price increase is unsubstantiated, with the Armenian Dram appreciated by nearly 2 percent,” the paper comments.
