Armenian government to give AMD 20 million monetary award to Armenian chess players for winning Olympic champion title

Armenian government has allocated AMD 114 million to Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs to give monetary awards to Armenian chess players, Levon Aronian, Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir Akopian, Gabriel Sargissian and Tigran Petrosian (each worth AMD 20 million), as well as other team responsibles for their win in the 40th FIDE World Chess Olympiad in Istanbul.
