Ruben Hayrapetyan officially resigns as MP

Today, September 28, 12:00pm was the deadline for MP Ruben Hayrapetyan to withdraw his resignation.

Speaking to Panorama.am, Gohar Poghosyan, a spokesperson for NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, noted that Hovik Abrahamyan signed a protocol on early termination of Ruben Hayrapetyan’s powers as MP and sent it to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

Hermine Harutyunyan, a spokesperson for CEC, told Panorama.am that the commission has received the Speaker’s protocol.
