Haykakan Zhamanak: Defense Ministry’s Investigative Service discussing bringing charges against several officials
Former Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant General Arshaluys Paytyan, who was in charge of ammunition and procurement, has left the country for treatment, Paytyan’s aide told Haykakan Zhamanak but denied to answer the question of where he went exactly and if it is possible that he has left forever.
The paper inquired from Armenian Defense Ministry’s Investigative Service if Paytyan was involved in the criminal case on abuses in the field. The answer was that the service is currently discussing bringing charges against several officials as part of the criminal case.
