Maxim Sokolov: We will reach such agreements on gas price that will please both sides

We take efficient moves, and I am confident that as always, we will reach such agreements that will please both sides, Maxim Sokolov, co-chairman of Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission, Russian Minister of Transport, told reporters in Yerevan in response to the question of whether the meeting of the commission addressed the issue of tariffs of Russian gas imported to Armenia.

“Certainly we have discussed the issue of gas price within the Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission format. The negotiations are underway,” said Solokov.

Also, he noted that both the management of Gasprom and Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources were present at the 14th meeting of Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Cooperation Commission.
