Lampard to miss United and Shakhtar clashes

Frank Lampard is out for at least a fortnight after a recurrence of the calf strain which ruled him out of two World Cup qualifiers, Daily Mail reported.

Lampard, who limped out of Chelsea’s defeat by Shakhtar Donetsk, misses the Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday and the return with Shakhtar.

There will be repercussions for England, who go to Sweden for a friendly next month, and manager Roy Hodgson could be tempted to speed up Jack Wilshere's return.
