International Forum of Translators and Publishers kicks off today in Yerevan

Yerevan will host the VI International Forum of Translators and Publishers “Theory and Practice: Overcoming the Gap” on November 5-8. The event will be held with the support of Armenian Ministry of Culture and CIS Interstate Foundation for Humanitarian Cooperation, Book Foundation’s press service reported.

The forum will feature roundtables, launching events of translated literature, lectures by renowned translators and publishers, master classes, literary readings by local and foreign attendees.

The best traditions of Armenian national translation culture and the necessity of bringing them in line with the new demands of time will be among key topics of discussion at the forum.
