Hraparak: Mutton exports to Iran stopped, mutton prices down in Armenia

Armenia has stopped mutton exports to Iran long ago, Hraparak writes. The reason for this decision is the depreciation of Iran’s national currency.

“Armenian consumers benefited from it: one kilogram of mutton now costs AMD 2000 instead of AMD 3,500. Fresh mutton is exported in small amounts to UAE,” the paper writes.
