Vice chair of Free Democrats party Anush Sedrakyan’s nomination as presidential candidate could remain on the level of discussion.
“It is very possible that I will not run for president but I think there is no tragedy in it because it is good in itself that we had positive discussions on nominating a female candidate,” she told Panorama.am.
“In light of the latest developments regarding the opposition, nomination for presidential elections is a little formal, but we do not want to be formal, we want to have a purposeful and ideological participation. That is why it is not compulsory to do it at the level of a candidate and we will have an arena to voice our ideas and opinions,” Mrs Sedrakyan explained.
