ANC conventions to be held after the End of World

“Golos Armenii” daily reports that on December 22 the conventions of three oppositional parties where their participation at the upcoming presidential elections will be decided. The paper says, “Apparently, unlike the RPA the opposition is more superstitious and thinks it will be more meaningful to speak about their candidate only after getting sure that the end of the world is postponed.”

Coming up to the rumors that ANC may not suggest Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s candidacy the paper says that it will harm the ANC first of all, as it will mean that Congress has accepted his inability of taking victory at the elections. This will mean that the “mighty” strategy of the Congress leader has turned into fiasco. “Taking into consideration the fact that the politicians do not like accepting their own mistakes it is probable that Levon Ter-Petrosyan will run for president,” the paper writes.
