Armenian serviceman injured by bullet shot from Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire in the direction of the villages of Aygepar, Movses and Chinari in Tavush region of Armenia Tuesday evening. 

Armenian contract serviceman Gevorg Melikbekyan was wounded as a result of the shootings.

The injury is not life-threatening, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said.

Azerbaijan fired in the direction of the Armenian border villages until late night. Fortunately, there are no casualties among the villagers.

The Armenian Armed Forces keep the situation under full control, taking all necessary actions to restrain the enemy, Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
