Raffi Hovannisian to Serzh Sargsyan: Be my teacher, let’s together save the people

Never doubt my words. Our children, our people should see your victory, our common victory, at the price of my life. Let them comment on it if they want, Heritage leader, former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian said at a meeting with residents of Noyemberyan as part of his regional tour.  

“I say good morning to Serzh Sargsyan,” Hovannisian said, inviting Serzh Sargsyan to Liberty Square on April 9. “Let it be a holiday of national unity.”

“If you are ready, let’s together withdraw from the presidential race and go to protect our border. Be my teacher, let’s together save the people,” Hovannisian said, addressing Serzh Sargsyan.

Former presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian Hovannisian disagrees with the results of the February 18 presidential elections in Armenia and has been leading mass protest actions. Hovannisian was on hunger strike at Liberty Square of Yerevan from March 10 to March 31.
