Iranian Foreign Minister to attend Serzh Sargsyan’s inauguration

As noted during the meeting of visiting spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast and Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi will visit Armenia to attend the inauguration of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Iran's state-run news agency IRNA reported.  

During the meeting with the spokesman, Edward Nalbandian said that Armenian-Iranian relations develop normally thanks to mutual visits.

Commenting on regional issues, the Armenian FM said he highly appreciates Iran’s balanced position on Karabakh issue.

As part of his visit to Armenia, spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry Ramin Mehmanparast has met with Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan, Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan and visited Yerevan State University and RA National Academy of Sciences.
