Zidane to be Real Madrid sporting director

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is poised to confirm the appointment of Zinedine Zidane as the club’s new sporting director when he gains re-election this summer.

According to Spanish daily AS, Perez will present Zidane as the club’s sporting director on 3rd June, pairing the Frenchman up with Italian Carlo Ancelotti, who is expected to take over as coach.
