Cabinet approves bill on increasing minimum wages

From July 1, 2013 the minimum salary in Armenia will be AMD 45,000 instead of current AMD 35,000. The Armenian cabinet approved today the draft law on Making Amendment to the Law on Minimum Monthly Wages. 

Wages will be further raised from January 1, 2014. About AMD 50bn will be allocated for that purpose, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said at the cabinet meeting.
