Armenian chess players in Golden Sands

GM Tigran L. Petrosian scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took 13th place among 220 participants at the 2nd Grand Europe Open in Bulgaria’s Golden Sands resort.

GM Avetik Grigoryan and David Paravyan scored 5.5 points each, GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian 5 points, IM Valentin Panbukchian 4.5 points. 

GM Nils Grandelius (Sweden) became the tournament’s winner, armchess.am reported.
