Gas price subsidy talks enter final phase, says Armenian Energy Minister

Talks with Russia over subsidizing gas tariffs at 30% have entered the final phase, with results to be announced in a few days, Armenian Energy Minister Armen Movsisyan has told reporters. 

The Minister confirmed that the subsidy amounts to about $150m. Regarding the transfer to Gazprom of Armenian government’s 20% stake in ArmRosGazprom, the Minister repeated, “We will make a final announcement when the talks are over.”
