Public transport fares to increase no more than 50 percent, says official

Head of the Transport Department of Yerevan Municipality Henrik Navasardyan says calculations and discussions are in progress regarding public transport fares. 

There will be televised discussions, a meeting with journalists will take place at the Municipality in the coming days, during which some issues will be clarified, the official told Panorama.am.

Asked how much the increase is expected to be, Navasardyan replied, “In any case, the fares will increase no more than 50 percent.”
