Armenian chess players in Istanbul

Armenian chess players Armen Grigoryev (Georgia) and Arno Garabetyan (Turkey) had successful performance at the open chess tournament in Istanbul, Turkey. They scored 6.5 points out of 9 and took accordingly 7th and 8th places among 94 participants.

GM Mustafa Yilmaz (Turkey) took first place, scoring 8.5 points. Garabetyan was the only participant who drew with the winner, armchess.am said.
