Haykakan Zhamanak: RPA begins registration of members

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has begun registration of its members, Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper says. RPA spokesman, member of RPA Executive Body Edward Sharmazanov confirmed the news yesterday.

“This is an organizational procedure which is carried out regularly,” Sharmazanov said.

When asked to comment on the remark that one might think that the party is getting ready for snap elections, Sharmazanov said, “Surely we are not preparing for snap elections and I advise everybody to do the same.”
