Haykakan Zhamanak: Artak Karapetyan ends hunger strike

Artak Karapetyan, who is being held in Artik prison after being convicted of beating to death an ambulance doctor, ended his hunger strike yesterday. He was transported to the medical unit of the prison, his father, Aramais Karapetyan, told Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent. 

The convict’s father said that his son finally heeded his requests to end the hunger strike and that his health is bad.
